A Word from the President

When Translink Shipping was founded in 1987, our main goal was to establish a Trans-Pacific network providing our customers with top quality service based on our sincerity and honesty.

Our ambition was and is to transport our customer's goods and merchandise to their designated destination on time in the safest, promptest and most effective manner.

Our loyal customers are the best witnesses to our growth. By 1995, 8 years from the day we established, the record of U.S. Customs indicated that the volume of Translink Shipping ranked as the # 5 on Non-Vessel Operation Common Carrier (N.V.O.C.C.) in the Trans-Pacific trade. Between 1995 and 2000, our average volume was around 58,000 TEU. In 2003,
16 years from our initial establishment, Translink Shipping expanded to 25 branch offices and 55 agents throughout the world.
Last year, the year 2002, we maintained an average growth of 14,16%.

The success of Translink Shipping did not come easily. it's the accumulation of hard work of days and nights, well planning and a keen sense of the market needs. We are never satisfied with what we did for our customers.

Our policy is to upgrade our system and equipment continously and to train our personnel regularly so that the quality of our service is second to none.

Customer's satisfaction, recognition and support are our biggest assets. Whenever and wherever we are, we try to provide the most favorable price and perfect our Internet system to meet customer's different shipping needs.

As to the future plan and strategy of Translink Shipping, we are happy to exercise our efforts to develop new markets. Last year has been successful and this global growth continues tirelessly forward. In order to deeply penetrate into the European market, on July 1st 2003, our 25th office is officially operating at Hamburg, Germany. This Hamburg office will serve as our European regional Headquarter. Meanwhile, we are planning the set-up of our 26th and 27th branch office at Sydney and Melbourne. Our ultimate goal is to make Translink Shipping into a globalized operation.
